Armed conflict with VN troops caused K Rouge fall

Gov’t awaits UN to resume talk on tribunal’s anti-irregularity mechanism
The government of Cambodia is still open to await talk with the UN on legal usage technique, anti-irregularity mechanism, or anti-corruption mechanism within the Khmer Rouge tribunal, according to Phay Siphan, spokesman for the Council of Ministers.
Tribunal promises to hold weekly press conference
Apart from revising some structures, the Khmer Rouge tribunal’s administration decided to form a weekly press conference every Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. Khranh Tony, administration interim director of the Khmer Rouge tribunal, explained the tribunal wanted to create a close relationship culture with the tribunal and the press – or create a discussion forum rather than leaving negotiation of rumor.
